“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” - Nelson Mandela

“Education is freedom.” - Paulo Freire

“The most violent element in society is ignorance.” - Emma Goldman

Education is one of the most liberating and revolutionary resources we have and should have in this human experience. As the incomparable Maya Angelou said, “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” Our society is facing a severe crisis of fashionable miseducation and a campaign of anti-intellectualism, which has bred a normalized culture of unapologetic anti-humanism, evident in the ongoing global issues of xenophobia, widespread racism, sociocultural misogyny and government sanctioned anti-LGBTQIA legislation.

J.R. Baker-Flowers has designed culturally and linguistically appropriate training sessions for corporate, community-based, universities, K-12 schools, government and private business clientele rooted in fundamental DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) practices, which are accessible for participants across socioeconomic, racial, gender, accessibility and age spectrums.

  • Pre-assessment and post-assessment of each participant’s knowledge of DEI topic
